Our Stone Design Consultant will offer high-end custom style to our clients by consulting on natural stone design solutions and personally delivering an elevated experience from initial inspiration through to completion of the client's vision.

We are looking for a brand ambassador to help grow Buechel Stone Corp, a true relationship-maker who delivers best experiences by encompassing Buechel Stone's core values.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Consult clients through the use of creative design consulting skills, teamwork and customer service, in order to deliver an exceptional experience to every customer, every time   
  • Assist with the design and select of the perfect natural stone for each setting and application
  • Actively listen and engage clients to understand their project concerns in the natural stone selection process
  • Use Buechel Stone's proven sales process and expertise acquired from our in-depth training program
  • Manage design center visits; handle inquiries, quote requests, delivery information and terms
  • Be a source of knowledge for phone inquiries
  • Initiate active prospecting for businesses that can benefit from stone design assistance
  • Discuss customers' needs, and recommend products that will best meet their expectations, following up as necessary to point of closure
  • Develop, share, and apply product expertise by keeping informed with the marketplace and industry trends
  • Prepare work orders
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers
  • Respond to and resolve complaints authorizing returns or refunds where appropriate
  • Advise customers of order updates including to, but not limited to: order delays, back orders, or necessity of substitutions
  • Motivate self to stay accountable to individual sales and service goals
  • Awareness and engagement in the Home Builders association
  • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of showroom sample boards and literature
  • Communicate with intercompany departments to determine product availability and order status
  • Travel as needed to jobsite/customer visits to understand full details of job
  • Assist with, organize and dispatch local deliveries
  • Learn and utilize CRM program
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Interior Design or similar design Degree is a plus
  • 3 years of sales experience preferred
  • Prior architectural or interior design experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using a CRM program preferred
  • Professional presentation
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
